Projects and Saving

Vibecade is designed so you can leave a project and come back later without treating every session like a one-shot build.

Your project saves as you work. That means you can usually:

  • close the tab and reopen later
  • switch devices
  • continue after a browser refresh
  • return to an earlier idea without rebuilding everything from memory

You can reopen projects from:

  • My Projects
  • the recent project switcher in the editor

This makes it easy to move between experiments, polish work, and published games.

The projects view supports the basics you would expect:

  • search
  • sorting
  • grid or list views
  • rename
  • delete

If you build often, give projects clear names early. It makes revisiting and sharing much easier.

By default, projects are public unless your plan gives you access to private projects and you switch the project to private.

Public projects are useful when you want:

  • a shareable link
  • discoverability in the Arcade
  • an easy way for others to play or remix your game

Private projects are useful when you want:

  • work in progress hidden from public listings
  • client or concept work kept out of the Arcade
  • a quieter iteration loop before launch

What happens if the editor refreshes mid-build

Section titled “What happens if the editor refreshes mid-build”

If you refresh during active work, Vibecade will try to reconnect the project view and keep your saved project state intact. In most cases, you can continue from there instead of starting over.

  • Give each project a clear name.
  • Start a fresh project when the concept changes drastically.
  • Publish only the versions you are comfortable sharing.
  • Use My Projects as your long-term library.
