Publish and Share
Publishing turns your project into a playable web experience you can share with other people.
What publishing does
Section titled “What publishing does”When you publish a game, Vibecade creates a shareable play link and makes the game available through the Vibecade Arcade if the project is public.
Publishing is the fastest way to:
- test the game on another device
- send it to friends or collaborators
- collect feedback
- show work publicly
When to publish
Section titled “When to publish”Publish once the game:
- loads reliably
- has a playable core loop
- feels good enough to share
- matches the direction you want players to see
You do not need to wait for perfection. Many creators publish early, gather feedback, and republish after improvements.
Public vs private
Section titled “Public vs private”Project visibility matters:
- public projects can appear in the Arcade and be shared openly
- private projects stay out of public discovery
Private projects require a plan that includes private project access.
Updating a published game
Section titled “Updating a published game”You can keep iterating after the first publish. A common rhythm is:
- Publish version one.
- Collect feedback.
- Improve the game in the editor.
- Publish again.
This is a strong workflow for jams, demos, and community testing.
Thumbnails and presentation
Section titled “Thumbnails and presentation”Presentation matters. Before sharing widely, check:
- the game title
- the description
- the thumbnail
- the first 30 seconds of play
If needed, upload a better thumbnail so the project reads clearly in the Arcade and in shared links.
Remixing public games
Section titled “Remixing public games”Public games can also become starting points for new ideas. If a game supports remixing, signed-in users can fork the concept into their own project and continue building from there.
